Spatial Jobs Online News Bulletin December 2014 Issue 63

Spatial Jobs Online News Bulletin
December 2014 Issue 63
Out with the old and in with the new.  Farewell to 2014, greetings to 2015.

What will happen in the spatial industry in the New Year?  What new developments will occur and who will come up with another innovative use of GIS?  We have certainly seen many ways GIS has benefited industry and individuals alike.  Innovations such as using a quadcopter UAV to quickly deliver a floatation device to a distressed swimmer, which won an award for University of Wollongong students or addressing climate change and then there is the phone App which will help you find your parked car.

Some imagination, some logic, some lateral thinking and anything is possible.
Whatever, wherever the invention and the inventor, we will continue to bring you up-to-date news and views and a little humour.

We wish you all a very happy, safe and satisfying 2015.
